Botanical Garden : the ACHARYA JAGADISH CHANDRA BOSE INDIAN BOTANIC GARDEN also it was formerly known as "INDIAN BOTANIC GARDEN" & "CULCUTTA BOTANIC GARDEN" also it was known as "ROYAL BOTANIC GARDEN, CULCUTTA". Situated i Shibpur, Howrah, Kolkata, India. The garden have collection over 12,000 speciment spread over 109 hectare area. It is under Botanical Survey of India (BSI) of ministry of Environment and Forest, govt of india. it was created on 2nd November, 1786.
